Local Task Safety and Location Policy

1. Eligibility

Both the buyer and seller must complete the required identity verification, address verification and approved face-photo process before participating in local tasks. J2D may impose additional category, insurance, licence, age or safety requirements.

2. Information shared after hire

After payment or approved hire, only the verified transaction parties may receive the other party’s approved face photo and transaction contact number where required for attendance and safety. This information is private, must be used only for the task and must not be published, retained unnecessarily or shared with others. Exact home addresses are not public and are used internally for verification.

3. Meeting or task location

The buyer may share the task destination or meeting point needed for the seller to attend. The parties should use a safe, accurate and appropriate location and should avoid exposing a private residential address unless the work genuinely requires attendance there.

4. Location evidence—not continuous tracking

J2D does not allow either party to view the other party’s movement history or stored location trail. Where enabled, J2D may retain limited event-based evidence, such as confirmation that a seller reached the agreed location or that a buyer was present or absent, solely for safety, callout, attendance and dispute resolution. Continuous background tracking is not the intended design.

5. Emergencies and conduct

J2D is not an emergency service. In an immediate danger, users should contact local emergency services. Harassment, stalking, unauthorised recording, coercion, entry beyond the agreed work area, unsafe tools or conditions, and attempts to use task information for unrelated contact are prohibited. A party may leave an unsafe situation and should report it promptly.

6. Retention and access

Location evidence and local-task safety records are restricted to authorised personnel and are retained only as long as reasonably required for the event, dispute, fraud review or legal obligation. They are not sold or provided to the other party as a movement history.
