Seller Terms

1. Seller responsibility and status

A seller is responsible for the legality, accuracy and professional quality of their services, offers, profile and work. Sellers must accurately declare whether they act as a trader/business or as a non-trader where the platform requests that information, and must provide legally required consumer information.

2. Profiles and evidence

Claims about professions, skills, qualifications, licences, employment, portfolio work and company relationships must be truthful and supported where verification is requested. Only evidence-reviewed facts receive verified indicators. J2D may remove or refuse unverifiable, misleading or expired claims.

3. Services and offers

A service or offer must define the included scope, price, delivery time, revision allowance, exclusions, buyer dependencies and any usage or licensing conditions. Sellers must not bid for work they cannot competently and lawfully perform. Automated or template-assisted work must still meet the promised standard and any disclosure requirement.

4. Delivery and revisions

Delivery must be made through the designated workroom by the due date, subject to recorded extensions and buyer delays. Revisions cover reasonable corrections within the purchased scope; they do not require replacement work, new concepts or expanded scope unless expressly included. Sellers should keep evidence of requirements, work, delivery and communications on-platform.

5. Fees, commission and payouts

J2D deducts the applicable seller commission and may apply VAT as described in the Payments, Refunds and Account Credit Policy. Payouts are subject to clearance, fraud and dispute controls, minimum thresholds, fees and the standard holding period. Sellers must provide accurate payout, tax-residency, identity and DAC7 information.

6. Intellectual property and confidentiality

The seller must have rights to all materials used and must respect confidential information. Ownership or licence transfer follows the accepted transaction terms and generally occurs only after full payment, unless mandatory law or an express written agreement provides otherwise. Pre-existing tools, methods and third-party assets remain subject to their own rights and licences.

7. Off-platform conduct and subcontracting

A seller may not divert a J2D buyer or active transaction off-platform to avoid fees or safeguards. Subcontracting is permitted only where lawful, consistent with the offer, appropriately disclosed where material, and subject to confidentiality and quality obligations. The seller remains responsible for the work.
